Our shop sits on the I-49 Service Road at the southern edge of St. Landry Parish, closer to Sunset than to Opelousas. That puts our crews minutes from the growth north of I-10: Sunset, Grand Coteau, Carencro, north Lafayette and Scott, as well as Youngsville, Broussard and the rest of the Lafayette area. The same I-49 route takes us north to Alexandria and Pineville in Rapides Parish.

Ryan D. Smith started Service Electric in 2000, after several years working alongside his father, an electrical contractor in the commercial and industrial field. Today Service Electric of Louisiana, LLC is still owned and operated by Ryan, a licensed Master Electrician.
